权限使用说明

实际权限用途：

  • 监听你在网页上的文字选中操作（mouseup 事件）

  • 点击按钮时,执行复制到剪贴板或打开搜索/翻译页面的操作

不做的事情：

  • 不读取或记录页面内容（除了你主动选中的文字，且仅在本地内存临时处理）
  • 不修改页面原有的 DOM 结构或样式（菜单元素独立于页面，关闭后立即销毁）
  • 不拦截、记录或上传你的浏览行为
  • 不使用 chrome.storage、localStorage 或任何形式的数据持久化

你选中的文字仅在本地内存中用于生成"复制 / 搜索 / 翻译"三个按钮的跳转链接或剪贴板写入操作，不会被记录、缓存或发送到任何第三方服务器。

第三方服务

点击"Google 搜索"或"Google 翻译"按钮时，你的浏览器会跳转到对应网站（google.com 或 translate.google.com），并将选中的文字作为搜索/翻译参数附加在跳转链接中。这部分数据的处理遵循 Google 的隐私政策，与本扩展无关；本扩展本身不会拦截、留存或转发这些内容。

数据存储

Quick Tools 不使用 chrome.storage、localStorage、Cookie 或任何形式的本地/云端数据库，也没有登录或账号体系。

None. Quick Tools does not collect, store, or transmit any user data, including but not limited to:

Permission Usage Explanation

Quick Tools uses content_scripts to automatically inject functionality scripts into all web pages, providing a "ready-to-use" experience without clicking the extension icon. This causes Chrome to display a permission warning on the installation page: "Read and change all your data on all websites".

Actual Permission Usage:

  • Listen to text selection operations on web pages (mouseup event)
  • Dynamically create a floating menu near the selected text
  • When buttons are clicked, copy to clipboard or open search/translation pages

What We Don't Do:

  • Do not read or record page content (except text you actively select, processed temporarily in local memory only)
  • Do not modify the page's original DOM structure or styles (menu elements are independent and destroyed immediately when closed)
  • Do not intercept, record, or upload your browsing behavior
  • Do not use chrome.storage, localStorage, or any form of data persistence

The text you select is only used in local memory to generate jump links for "Copy / Search / Translate" buttons or clipboard write operations. It will not be recorded, cached, or sent to any third-party servers.

Third-Party Services

When you click the "Google Search" or "Google Translate" button, your browser will navigate to the corresponding website (google.com or translate.google.com), with the selected text appended as search/translation parameters in the jump link. The processing of this data follows Google's privacy policy and is not related to this extension; the extension itself does not intercept, retain, or forward this content.

Data Storage

Quick Tools does not use chrome.storage, localStorage, cookies, or any form of local/cloud database, nor does it have a login or account system.
